Free Global Read Aloud 2022 Thirst Resources

The Global Read Aloud is happening again this year. If you aren’t aware of the Global Read Aloud, it is created by Pernille Ripp. Every year she chooses a couple of books for classrooms around the world to read together at a specific pace and connect with other classrooms. There are book selections for every age from Junior Kindergarten to High School.

This year my class will be reading Thirst by Varsha Bajaj. I read the book and created a slide show of journal prompts and activities for my students to learn about. I also created a Quizizz that students can learn about Mumbai and some terminology they will need throughout the book.
